Starbucks Eco Patio

Starbucks has a hip patio on Main Street. This last summer they started to go "Green". They involved Streetsville local school children to paint environmental friendly deco on the recycled planters that now bring green vegetation to the well used patio.

Streetsville Spring Music on Main Street

March and April have been warm this year, bringing out more Streetville visitors. Recently a few musicans played on Starbucks patio on the corner of Main St. and Thomas St. Granparents walking tots stopped to dance along, teenagers sipping lattes chatted and watched. A crowd grew on the sidewalk, followed by three police cars who also listened to the musical entertainment before leaving the crowd to enjoy.

Streetsville Trinity Cemetery

So many villagers and visitors roaming Streetsville, this early Spring. We are breaking many temperature records over the March Break week. Patio life and St.Patty's celebrations are happening on Main street.

In 1843, Streetsville's Trinity Anglican Cemetery was started along with the Church. It was burned in an arson fire in April of 1998, and demolished. A new church was built on the same plot and opened September 9, 2000. It now nicely overlooks Vic Johnston and the Credit River.

Timothy Street's grave stone is among the group. He and his wife had 12 children, 5 of which predeceased them. (33, 29, 26, 20, 18 years of age.) Must have been deadly to live back then!

Taste of Streetsville 2011

There is still time to gather with friends and dine in Streetsville this year. Take advantage of the "Taste of Streetsville" and try a restaurant you've never visited or hit up one of your local favourites.

French Cuisine

Bistro Chezanne is a classy choice in Streetsville. Great for date nights and celebrations. The resturant has a prime location at Main Street and Queen Street espically with the summer patio, over looking the cenotaph.

The resturant is high class, Paris dining in Streetsville.

Graydon

The Graydon Building was built in 1891 by John Graydon, but was owned and maintained by his nephew William John Graydon. Historically it was a General Store and then later was Streetsville Hardware Store.

In the summer of 2011, Graydon changed hands and has opened as Graydon Bar and Grill. With wide open windows facing main street, you can people watch while enjoying the breeze. It's newly renovated back patio will make this restaurant a hit for lovely summer dining. Who doesn't love dinner and a walk in Streetsville?

Enjoy the Gastro Burger.

Streetsville Bars and Patios, Cuchulainn's

This might be the best patio to sit on in Streetsville. Since I can remember Cuchulainn's Irish Bar has been a great place to find friends and have a beer. Everything on the menu is defiantly worth a try on a Saturday night. Also a great place to enjoy The Bread and Honey festival or any holiday. Cuchulainn's staff have always been great, ready to serve and polite. Just be ready for a short wait for a table on sunnydays.
