Streetsville Ceilidh 2011

Streetsville Ceilidh was celebrated at Vic Johnson's Arena this September. Funds were raised through a silent auction for streetsville hockey, and local organizations. A signed Crosby jersery was just one of the many items auctioned off.  The enteritainment, Syxmyth, Marshall Dane, Fiddlestiix provided music for the evening. However by far the young Irish dancers were the best entertainment.  They were far to fast for my camera to capture an image. Mayor Hazel MacCallion was there to give a speech and she danced the night away.

Recently the old Lawn bowling club/library/tin-smith, building was renovated and became the home of the Streetsville BIA. The new building has certainly added to the charm that downtown Streetsville has.
